Georgie's Leather
email: leather1951@hotmail.com
Georgie began leather crafting in 1976 since that time she has been tutored by some of the best leather artists from Australia, New Zealand, America, Germany, Taiwan and Japan. And she has won a number of prizes for her work.
The leather goods that are made by Georgie are made from only the highest quality leather, the main leathers used are vegetable tanned kangaroo hide and cowhide, occasionally you may see on her stall items with various inlayed leathers like cane toad skin, crocodile, emu leg, and fish skin.
Most of the leather items are made using the traditional techniques of hand stitching, hand carving, plaiting and hand dyeing. The items Georgie creates are not only beautiful but functional and will last many years due to the techniques used and the quality of the leather.
Georgie has been a stall holder since early 1996 and has chosen to sell her wares from our market as she only sells directly to her customers as she prefers to have face to face contact with her customers and as there is no middle man the prices of her wares can be kept at a minimum so that you get a beautifully made product that will last for years, but also at a price that is affordable.
Custom orders can be made for that special item you have always wanted.
Come in and see the array of hand made leather goods available from Georgie's stall and if you want a bargain there is also a range of imported leather goods on display for sale as well.
